The World Travel Awards (hereinafter referred to as WTA) is an annual award held since 1993 and has now become the world's leading brand in honoring outstanding achievements of the tourism industry in all fields. This is the 28th time that WTA organizes voting and awarding activities.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism calls for the response of the people and tourists to Vietnam tourism focusing on the following categories: Asia's Leading Destination, Asia's Top Cultural / Heritage Destination, Destination Top Asian City (Hanoi) and Top Asian Cultural City Destination (Hoi An). Voting for Vietnamese tourism has the opportunity to receive WTA awards - the most prestigious award organization in the tourism field is the pride not only of the tourism industry but also of the Vietnamese people in general when image of a safe and attractive Vietnam.
