According to Resolution No. 88/2019/QH14 dated November 18, 2019 of the National Assembly approving the master plan for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period, assigning tools The concerned ministries and branches should urgently implement the tasks and solutions to ensure the progress according to the contents of the proposed Resolution.

It is known that the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs is drafting the Prime Minister's Decision promulgating regulations on principles, criteria and norms for allocation of central budget capital and the proportion of reciprocal capital of local budgets to implement the Program. The national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period includes 10 projects:

1. Project 1 solves the shortage of residential land, houses, production land and domestic water;
2. Project 2 to plan, arrange, arrange and stabilize population in necessary places;
3. Project 3 on developing agricultural and forestry production, bringing into play the potentials and strengths of regions to produce goods along the value chain.
4. Project 4 invests in essential infrastructure, serving production and life in ethnic minority and mountainous areas and public non-business units of the ethnic sector;
5. Project 5 on development of education and training to improve the quality of human resources;
6. Project 6 to preserve and promote the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development;
7. Project 7 to take care of people's health, improve the health and stature of ethnic minorities; child malnutrition prevention;
8. Project 8 implements gender equality and addresses urgent issues facing women and children;
9. Project 9 to invest in creating livelihoods and economic development for very few ethnic groups and difficult ethnic groups;
10. Project 10 communication, propaganda and advocacy in ethnic minority areas and mountainous areas.

Accordingly, the estimated investment capital to implement the Project is 1,400 billion and the implementation time is divided into two 5-year plans, from 2021-2026 and 2026-2030.
