In addition, with the goal of developing forest eco-tourism right in Bien Hoa city, contributing to environmental protection for grade-I urban areas, Dong Nai People's Committee recently met to approve budget expenditure of 500 billion VND to currently the project on planning and constructing the protection forest environment and landscape of Bien Hoa. In which there are 7 main items are: Construction of habitat forests; building an animal and plant collection area; construction of administrative and service areas; building resettlement areas to move households out of the forest; investment in research, training and education zones; to build a system of surrounding roads to serve tourism, research and forest protection. The project is located in 6 wards and communes of the city. Bien Hoa and 2 districts: Trang Bom, Vinh Cuu. Currently, the project has been implementing more than 70% of the total items. The project has nearly 157ha of forest with a planting density of 160-550 trees / ha with more than 200 species. The remaining area of ​​54ha is roads, streams and households growing vegetables and fruit trees. Currently, there are about 295 households using forest land in the project and after working, 198 households have accepted to relocate ”. It is expected that after the relocation is completed, a number of surrounding roads will be built to put into operation for tourism.

With the goal of making tourism an important economic sector, gradually becoming a key economic sector of the province, the province always determines and develops tourism, including forest ecology. On the basis of the approved planning, the province is focusing on directing the culture - sports and tourism industry and localities actively attracting investment, focusing on expanding products and types for ecotourism. The forest becomes a highlight in the tourism development of the province.
