In order to concretize Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU dated December 30, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on developing tourism into an important economic sector and Plan No. 8040/KH-UBND dated July 13- 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the Strategy for Vietnam's tourism development to 2030 in Dong Nai province.
The Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Dong Nai Tourism Development Plan in 2022 to gradually restore and develop tourism in the new situation, focusing on welcoming domestic tourists as the main. Promote socialization and mobilize resources to invest in sustainable tourism development. Concentrating resources, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of investment projects to develop eco-tourism, convalescence and entertainment in the province; focus on eco-tourism projects, forests, rivers and lakes.
Accordingly, the 2022 Tourism Development Plan has also outlined a number of key tasks such as:
- Propaganda to raise the society's awareness about tourism development, building a culture of behavior, civilized, polite, friendly and hospitable attitude in receiving and serving tourists through many forms. media such as newspapers, radio, conferences, seminars, websites, etc.
- Mobilize investment resources to develop tourism infrastructure and improve tourism material and technical facilities and high competitiveness in tourism to create a brand and breakthrough for Dong Nai tourism.
- Develop tourism products, link tourist routes inside and outside the province: survey and evaluate cultural, spiritual and agri-tourism destinations to create tourism products, connect tourist destinations ecotourism, and agritourism make up the tourist route.
- Innovating and improving the effectiveness of tourism advertising and promotion;
- Training and development of human resources, with priority given to localities with potential for tourism development in order to equip themselves with professional skills and organizational and individual skills to participate in tourism activities.
- Regarding the state management of tourism: focus on building a civilized and friendly tourism environment... Implement tourism development cooperation programs with provinces and cities
- Apply science and technology, promote the development of smart tourism ecosystem, increase technology application, digital transformation to promote Dong Nai tourism.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Cao Tien Dung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested the relevant departments, branches and local authorities to speed up the progress, focus on handling, supporting and implementing the procedures. continuously to ensure the early implementation of tourism projects for investors. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that, if Dong Nai wants to develop a breakthrough in the tourism industry, it is necessary to have specific outstanding products. Provincial leaders also asked localities such as Xuan Loc, Tan Phu... to accelerate plannings and projects related to forest management, protection and tourism development.
