Over the years, Dong Nai has also formed foundations to create an ecological urban model through early planning synchronous ecological urban areas, designing many parks and trees, with priority given to low-rise construction. Green urban spaces are the source of sustainable cities. Dong Nai province's construction plan to 2020, with a vision to 2050, has clearly oriented the development of the entire region's space in the direction of harmoniously linking green urban space with industry, tourism, agricultural and forestry production. and seafood.

From there, creating opportunities for stable and sustainable investment, aiming to make Dong Nai an urban development area, a multi-disciplinary service center, at the same time conserving landscape forests, biodiversity as well as water sources. of the entire region. In addition, in the coming years, the locality is also expected to become a typical ecotourism center with a good quality of life, harmony and environmental friendliness.
Currently, green growth is being identified as a strategic focus for socio-economic development, ensuring sustainable development. This is also the development target of many different fields such as economy, society, environment, industry, commerce, tourism ... Correspondingly forming types such as green economy, green technology, consumption. green tourism, green tourism ... and is an indispensable trend for Vietnam's tourism industry, is seen as a possible direction to solve the problem of sustainable tourism development.
