Strengthening the staff of the Appraisal Council The task of planning the tourism system

Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed Decision No. 671/QD-TTg on consolidating personnel of the Appraisal Council Task of making tourism system planning period 2021-2030, vision to the year 2050.

According to the Decision, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the Chairman of the Council, replacing Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien. The Appraisal Council for the task of formulating the tourism system planning for the period 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050 was established under the Prime Minister's Decision 69/QD-TTg dated January 15, 2021. The Council is responsible for organizing the appraisal of the task of formulating the tourism system planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 in accordance with the law on planning. The Council operates in the form of part-time; terminate the operation and self-dissolve after completing the task. 

With the basic objectives of developing tourism to become a spearhead economic sector, with professionalism, with a synchronous and modern system of material-technical foundations; tourism products of high quality, diversity, brand, imbued with national cultural identity, competitive with countries in the region and the world. By 2030, Vietnam will become a country with a developed tourism industry. In which, in terms of territorial organization: To develop 7 tourist regions with typical products according to each region; 46 national tourist areas; 41 national tourist attractions; 12 tourist cities and a number of other important tourist sites and destinations create driving force to promote tourism development for regions and the whole country. Attached to this decision is a list of national tourist resorts, national tourist attractions and tourist urban centers.
