Public art contributes to tourism development

Public art is an art form associated with the city, with public outdoor spaces. It is the typical product of cities with an interest and investment in shared cultural values, eliciting inspirations of pride in place for the community in a destination. In Vietnam, the practice of public art is an inseparable part of life, from folk songs, fairy tales, folk songs, cheo mats to village sculptures, pagodas, temples ...

Recently, Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts cooperated with relevant universities to organize a scientific seminar "Public art to create tourist destinations". This is the first time the seminar has been held, contributing solutions to the best effective connection between culture, art and tourism.

Public art has the ability to connect and awaken the soul of a destination, as well as a panacea to rebalance the spiritual and psychological life of the people. There is no more effective way of asserting your country's culture than giving your audience the chance to see works of art. And that is how many countries attract tourists from all over the world to me.

When you flip open any guidebook you will always see pictures of food, festivals and public art. Therefore, the presence of a work of art in a public place is extremely important, in many ways, including the development of tourism.
